A
friendly little village untouched by tourism. The
local tavernas are recommended as a good place to eat fresh
prawns and fish at good prices.
Only shallow-draught yachts drawing less than 1.40m should
attempt to enter the port. The new entrance on the SE
side is narrow and bordered by rocks. It is best to go
alongside the outer mole as the holding is poor.
Care must be taken of a shallow path near the middle of the
harbour. Shelter in the harbour is much improved with
the new entrance. A yacht can also go alongside the
quay just outside the entrance, where there is reasonable
shelter from the prevailing wind.
