Agios
Stefanos is a small inlet in the North Corfu Channel.
Although just below a military post no objection is normally
made to anchoring here.
Proceed into the middle of the bay and anchor in 3 - 6 m.
depths. The bottom is mud and thick weed, which can be
difficult to get through. Excellent shelter from the
NW wind. On the south side of the bay there is a rough
stone mole, but this is usually occupied by local boats.
Some provisions can be obtained and there are numerous
tavernas around the shore. Although a number of
holiday villas have been built here, the bay retains a calm
and beauty well worth the stop for the night.
