As a result of Saronic's geographical location, its climate range includes mild winters and dry warm summers cooled by a system of seasonal breezes popularly called “meltemi” or "maistros".  The meltemi blows less severe in the Saronic than in the adjacent Aegean Sea making this area idyll for sailing.
