The Gulf includes three major islands - Aegina, Poros and Salamina.  Further south lies Hydra with its beautiful town and Spetses guarding the Argolic Gulf.

Some smaller Islands are scattered in the Saronic area.  These are Angistri (S of Aegina), Dhokos (S of Hydra) and Spetsopoula (next to Spetses).  They have very few inhabitants -if any- and a small port each.
