Alimos Marina (also Kalamaki
Marina) on the NE shore of
the Saronic Bay is the largest Marina in
the Balkans, with a dominating position
in the Attica Basin.
Is an artificial harbour, shaped as a
parallelogram, which is protected by two
breakwaters.
The entire
interior of the
Marina is platformed with nine separate
piers in between. |
Towards the western side of the harbour basin, there are
also some floating piers, while there is a slide for
entering the harbour.
Alimos Marina has 1,100 mooring berths. It serves cabin
cruisers exclusively (private and professional) and
recreational craft, as well as certain fishing boats and
boats of the Alimos Nautical Club (NE basin).
At the same time, it serves aprox. 400 passing-by,
temporary vessels, which are accommodated in the empty
berths of the permanent boats.
