Aegean Island Today, the islands of the Aegean Sea offering the visitor a wide range of possibilities.  From the extreme cosmopolitan life of Myconos or Santorini to the quietest isolated beaches of Folegandros or Anafi.  Culture of 4000 years civilisation and unique sightseeing -like the cave, where Evangelist St John wrote the Apocalypse
on Patmos island; or famous sport centres -like the windsurfing centres of Paros island.  The list is endless and one will need to visit the area many times.

Yet, in spite of the characteristics, which the islands have in common, sparkling sea, sun, the landscape, and the austere line of the architecture - each retains its own individual features, which visitors can discover as they explore them one by one.

The whole area is served by several international airports on the major islands, smaller airports serving daily connection with Athens and other Greek cities and a large fleet of ferry boats and modern high-speed hydrofoils connecting all the islands.
