Day 5  Port Kioni (Ithaca island - 12 nm)
A pretty traditional seaside village, 24kms north of Vathi, the islands capital.  Kioni is under protection for its preservation, it is built in the heart of the inlet on the gentle green slopes. You should expect high winds (5-7 in Beaufort scale) as soon as you turn the N Cape of Ithaca island.

Day 6  Vassiliki  (Levkas island - 13 nm)
Vassiliki's port is located in the south-east of Lefkas, deep in the large synonymous bay. In the west side of this bay -close to village Pondi- is a nice anchorage (4-8 m. depth).  The actual port is located in the east of the bay and is very shallow.  Just stay close to the breakwater.  Although the distance is short (only 13 nm) you will sail your nose to the wind, so you 'd better be prepared and allow some extra time to cover the distance.

Day 7  Spartahori  (Meganissi island - 18 nm)
The bay of Spartohori is at the N end of Meganissi Is.  The town itself lies at the top of a very steep cliff, but the 15-20 minutes walk is well worth the effort, with a splendid view and quaint houses either side of narrow streets.  You will sail against the wind but, as soon as you exit Vassiliki Bay, it will drop and usually does not exceed 3-4 in Beaufort scale.

Day 8  Levkas Town  (Levkas island - 12nm)
This is a relaxing day, as you will motor most of the time and through Levkas Canal.  Care needed on staying in the middle of the Canal -DO NOT cross it after the sunset as it is not properly marked and your grounding is guaranteed.  Moor stern-to on the N quay or enter in the new Marina.
