Day
1
Gouvia marina -
arrival day After taking over your boat, depending on the time of your arrival, you
can visit
Corfu
town (7 km. away), rest, go for a swim
or -time permitting- set sails.
Day 2
Sivota (mainland Greece-24nm)
This 24 nm leg -with the usual NW breeze of the area, should be a pleasant downwind sail.
|
Care should be taken to the
sandbanks extended
from Lefkimi Cape -keep a good distance from the
Cape.
Day 3
Lakka Bay (Paxos
island - 12 nm) Approaching the entrance to the bay
the waters are turquoise and a number of small white beaches surround you. Most of
the time during July/August the village is crowded and mooring on the small quay is
difficult, but the bay is secluded and there is
anchoring room
for everyone. Going ashore with the dinghy has its own charm. Coming back to the boat
later, after a good dinner and a few drinks is a different story... For sure
unforgettable.
Day
4
Fiskardo (Cephalonia island - 50 nm) Fiscardo is a
colourful little port on the north east tip of Cephalonia. This is
the longest leg of this itinerary (50 nm), so
you should better start as early as possible to
avoid approaching Fiskardo after the sunset.
With the usual NW "maistro" wind blowing, you
should sail downwind most of the day.
