Day
5 Parga (mainland Greece - 12 nm) Next destination is the beautiful
town of Parga which is a small, picturesque town
with many attractions. Care needs to be
taken of
Ifalos Panayia
which stands E of Gaios on your course to Parga.
The 12 nm distance should be covered fast with
the NW wind on your side.
Note:
An alternative route, adding a few miles in
your trip, is to alter Days 4 and 5, i.e. from
Lakka Bay sail to Parga (instead of Port Gaios)
on Day 4 and return to Port Gaios on Day 5.
Day
6
Petriti (Corfu island - 16 nm) The return to the shores of
Corfu starts with the authentic fishing village
of Petriti. Care must be taken in the
shoal
extending off the low-lying Lefkimi Cape.
Petriti offers good shelter from the prevailing
NW wind although some swell creeps around into
the anchorage.
Day
7
Gouvia marina (Corfu
island - 18 nm) Regrettably, the last sailing day of your
Corfu holidays has come and
you will sail back to Gouvia marina. On the way there are many
bays to stop for that last lunch and swim in the Ionian Sea.
