After taking over your boat, depending on the time of your arrival, you can visit Athens, rest, go for a swim or -time permitting- set sails.

Tip:  Time permitting, you can sail to Cape Sounio on your arrival day and overnight in the small bay there.  It is
important to be there before the sunset because it is difficult to locate the bay in the night.  From Alimos Marina is aprox. 3hrs sailing.

Day 2  Loutra (Kythnos island - 50 nm)
Loutra is a small port, situated on the NE part of Kythnos island.  This a long leg (50 nm), so, you'd better start as early as possible.  You can make a stop over at Cape Sounio, swim, lunch and visit the famous Temple of Poseidon.  As soon as you cross the Cape you should expect high waves if the wind force is more than 5 (in Beaufort scale).

Day 3  Naousa  (Paros island - 44 nm)
Naousa is a cosmopolitan town on Paros island.  If you have the strength after a long sailing day, you will find many places to entertain the crew.  You may also use your one resting day of this itinerary to relax here.  The 42 nm from Kythnos should be covered in 6-7 hrs with the usual NW meltemi blowing on your side.
