South Cyclades
in
Greece
The South Cyclades
are scattered across the southern Aegean Sea between the Cape Sounio and
Turkey, and bordered by the Saronic Gulf
Islands to the west and the Dodekanese to the east, the North Cyclades to
the north and Crete island south.
The group is made up 11 major islands,
with the most popular destinations to be Paros, Naxos, Santorini and Ios.
Smaller islands like Anti-Paros or Kammeni next to Santorini will be
presented together with their parent island in this directory.
Yet, in spite of the
characteristics, which the islands have in common, sparkling sea, sun, the
landscape, and the austere line of the architecture - each retains its own
individual features, which visitors can discover as they explore them one
by one. |
