Approach straight forward by day and night. The light structure on the S
side is conspicuous.
Go stern or bows-to the quay off the village or anchor in the SE cove off
Ag. Irini. At Ag. Irini is best to place a line ashore to the NE
side. Also an additional rope with a floating mark tighten on your
anchor will allow you to lift it easier if it blocks on a chain which is
lying in the middle of the bay.
Off Loutra part of the quay is
reserved for yachts and a short mole provides shelter from the
meltemi. At the SW end of the quay there are depths of less than a
metre. The bottom is sand, mud and weed and not everywhere good
holding.
The port provides good shelter for NW, but can be uncomfortable with NE
as swell will reflect in. source & more info:
