Group Cruises are cruises offered at discounted
rates, for as long you book more than 3-4 persons together on that
cruise. That group can be anything, from a family to a
doctor's convention, from a small group of students class to the
employees of a large industry, who is offering this cruise to its'
personnel, and yet is deducting the costs from her taxes (something
similar to a "company car"). Anything you can imagine and can
put together people of the same kind, can be identified as a "group
booking" on cruises.
Similar to group cruises are "bulk discount cruises",
where agencies are buying cruises in bulk from the cruise lines and
then, they pass the savings -or part of it- to individuals.
This way, you may enjoy a "group booking price" even if you book
that cruise as an individual. These travel agencies are taking
a risk when they allocate the number of tickets to the cruise lines,
as unsold cruise tickets will become their expense, therefore they
offer them sometimes in real attractive price, mostly as "last
minutes cruises". |

There are two ways on earning a group cruise.
Firstly, are the standard types of group cruises discounts, which
are offered directly from the cruise line companies, or the sub
agents of these companies. You need to search through the web
in order to find what exactly offerings, each company includes in
her programmes.
Alternatively, if you can form a group of people
willing to enjoy the same cruise, no matter what is the reason for
that grouping, you may then ask from the cruise company or the sub
agent of your choice a reasonable discount for that cruise. |
