Odyssey 36i
The Sun Odyssey 36i design from
Marc Lombard is Jeanneau's latest
high-performance cruiser at 11m.
Two below-deck
layouts are offered,
both using very high quality
materials.
Performances and handling
The roomy cockpit has a solid, fixed
table for entertaining, while all
sheet and halyards lead aft. A
single huge wheel awaits the
helmsman. There is standard
roller mechanism for the genoa, when
the main sail is either a semi
button with lazy-jacks or an in-mast
furling mechanism.
Her
performances are average for the
category. Jeanneau offers this
model also as 36i Performance,
were a taller mast, deeper fin keel
and other modifications have been
made to improve the performances.
Accommodation
Down below, side and forward ports make for
a light and airy
saloon. Forward of the two aft cabins,
there's a head and shower to starboard and an efficient
L-shaped galley to port. Just ahead of the galley is a

general high quality of the boat makes this
