Sun
Odyssey 33,1
A tour of the Sun Odyssey 33
will leave you wondering whether you
are indeed aboard a 33-footer as you
ponder how a sailboat of this size
can offer so much living space .
This is one of the very few yachts
with 4 rooms under 10 metres.
Performances and handling
Under sail, everything has been
designed to offer no-hassle, simple
sailing: a relaxed cockpit area free
of the main traveller and roof
mounted winches, factory-fitted
wheel, recessed rigging, and
genoa-furling gear that is tucked
away under the deck line.
The
cockpit has a removable table and
easy swimming via the transom
extension with its built-in swim
ladder. Broad side-decks make for
hindrance-free movement force and
aft.
Accommodation The saloon is quite
spacious and features a settee that
converts to a double berth, ample
headroom, and no fewer than eleven
hatches and ports which ventilate
and light the interior. The
“American-style” in-line galley has
been designed to offer a wide range
of stowage areas. |
