Salona 45
|
Designed and built in Croatia by
J&J Design and AD Boats, the Salona
45 is a cruiser/racer, but pretty
much used for charters too in
Croatia.
Performances and handling
Salona 45 comes in 2 steering
options. One with two-wheels,
but the boat is also available with
a single, 60-inch,
carbon-fiber wheel. A transom locker is secured
with four screws, and is easily
removed. Overall, the cockpit
is roomy enough to accommodate the
crew, despite the deckhouse
extending relatively far aft.
Accommodation
The boat's interior is available in three different
layouts, and appointed in either mahogany or cherry. The
charter version has four cabins (two
mirror cabins aft, a twin with
upper/lower banks and a v-berth
forward). The
galley on all versions is the Euro-style linear
(stretches from the aft head on the
port side to the forward bulkhead)
which gives the
saloon a roomy feel. |

The forward-facing nav station is to starboard, abaft
the companionway. It's easy to open, and the
wiring is tidy and clearly labelled. Forward of
the nav station is the settee and a table.
Charter price
The Salona 45 is definitely not
built for charters. Yet, since she is offered in attractive price in
Croatia, is a good option for those who are looking to charter a boat that CAN
sail -and they know how to do it.
