Bavaria 38 Holiday
|
The Holiday series from Bavaria
in the '90s offered a number of
family cruisers suitable for
charters. The 38 model belongs
in this category.
Performances and handling
This boat has all the accessories
that ease the handling of a boat.
Roller mechanisms on both sails, all
sheets and halyards led aft in the
cockpit and easy access to water
level. Her performances are
typical for the category.
Accommodation
Down below side and forward ports
make for a light and airy
saloon. Forward of the
two
aft cabins, there's a
head and shower to starboard and the
nav station to port. Just
ahead of the chart-table is a
U-shaped settee and table and a
linear galley across. The
forward cabin has a
v-berth and lockers. Some
vessels have a second head in the
front compartment when other don't.
Charter price
Intended as a model competitive with
offerings from Jeanneau and Beneteau, the
Holiday 38 is priced toward
the lower end of the market. A family -or a group of up
to six guests, will find that
chartering this boat is a very good
option to consider. |
