Some bidding tips

- More flexible parameters - re charter
period or vessel size, etc. - will attract more yacht owners,
consequently you may place a lower bid in such a case.
- Please be sensible with your bidding
price. Unrealistic bids will not be published. A good idea
might be to look at our
bare boat price list
first, in order to get an idea of the market price.
- Do remember that one-way charters from
Athens to the islands e.g. Corfu, Lefkas, Rhodes, at the
beginning of the season (April-May) and the opposite
direction, i.e. from the islands to Athens, (end
September-October) are opportunities for very low bids.
- Your e-mail address will not be
published, but when a yacht owner views your bid and
contacts us, we will provide him - and only him - with your
e-mail address. You will negotiate your charter directly
with the owner. We believe this is a sensible way because
a) your privacy is protected, and b) although we
will not intervene between you and the owner, as agents, it
will give us authority to protect you from unethical owners
and shoddy yachts.
- It is good to set an expiry date for your
bid.
