Boat Shows
Worldwide
Several
Boat Shows are organized worldwide every year.
There, the boat building companies are showing their new
models (and the older ones), yachting accessories and tool
manufacturers have their stands. An extensive array of
equipment is presented for sailing and motor boat
enthusiasts, as well as surfers and canoeing and diving
fans. The charter agencies are promoting their programmes and
services too.
Traditionally, bookings made in a boat
show enjoy a discount -sometimes considerably lower charter
price is asked, therefore many charterers are waiting for
the nearest (in time and distance) event, in order to book
their sailing holiday there.
On this page, I will
attempt to present you most (if not all) of the boat shows
scheduled for the next 12 months worldwide, including a link
to the organizers' sites, so you can easily get more
information. Whether you navigate the water by wind or
by power, and your destination lies beneath the water, or
nowhere special at all, the time has come to visit the

Salon Nautique International de Paris
celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. We
have come a long way from the modest event held
at the Grand Palais back in 1926. |

London Boat Show will take place on 6th-15th January 2006 at
ExCeL in
London's Docklands. |

Jan 20-28 |
The
Düsseldorf Boat Show (BOOT) is the
most important European boat show, where all
builders and yacht charter agencies are showing
their products and services. |

Mar 06 - Mar 11 |
The forthcoming
HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show, which will
be held in the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Centre
from Tuesday 1 March to Sunday 6 March, will be
a special jubilee edition. |
