If you book directly the yacht owner
we must point out one or two facts -
for your advice and protection.
- The owners have been selected
for their reliability and for the
condition of their vessels BUT, if
you book direct with these owners no
responsibility can be accepted by
@lmiyachts.com - as we make
no profit from the transaction, the
introduction being given in good
faith.
- A Yacht Charter Agreement, which
will be signed by you and the owner,
can only be signed between a
charterer and EITHER the owner or
his accredited agent, e.g. Almi
Yachts or any other charter agency, and refers to a particular
named vessel. Any attempt by an
owner to divert the onus to another
yacht, whether owned by him (with
the exception of yachts included in
these pages) or a third party,
should be avoided at all costs. The
yachts on our website have been
inspected and other yachts do not
have our seal of approval or
recommendation.
- Our website pages therefore detail the
services we provide, but also give owners the opportunity to
present themselves and their vessels. Notwithstanding this, we are obliged
to point out the above mentioned legal facts of life and leave you to
decide whether to proceed with the intervention of a charter agency (and
the extra cost such an intervention
will deduct), or
to make your own commercial decisions and contact the yacht owners
directly.
