away in Northern
Bavaria, miles away from the nearest major
body of water, is the largest, and the most
surprising boatbuilding facility in the
world. Here, since 1979, Bavaria Yachtbau
GmbH has been applying the principles of
German engineering and European
craftsmanship to building sailing yachts.
One of the top-ranking and biggest yacht
builders in Europe, has developed a line of
yachts that stand out for their solid and
lasting value. This is the result of many
years of intensive cooperation between
Bavaria and the most renowned yacht-design
firms in Europe.
 Innovation, modern manufacturing methods,
computer-aided manufacturing processes and
highly skilled craftsmen all enable Bavaria
yachts to be produced comparatively
inexpensive. Bavaria Yachts is thus able to
pass this competitive advantage directly on
to its customers.
Every year approximately 3.500 yachts
between 27 and 50 feet leave the yard, which
employs more than 620 people and which is
one of the most modern series production
facilities for sailing yachts in the world.
