Affiliate Program FAQ

Q.  Why do you use an external program to serve your affiliates?

• There is an old Greek saying - " He who holds both the watermelon and the knife can share it with whom he likes ".  In other words, using a reputable firm (like MyReferer) to run our programme and offer you all the necessary statistics and earnings online, is your guarantee that we will never "trick" you and present statistics the way  "we" like.

Q.  Why have you chosen MyReferer as your partner?

• For two basic reasons: (a) MyReferer tracks the traffic from your site(s) and they provide very informative and accurate online statistics in real-time.  They do just that and they do it well, without interfering between the merchant (@lmiyachts.com) and the affiliate (your site).  Other reputable affiliate software providers (like CJ) offer the same service, but they do charge commissions on the referrer payments to his affiliates.  Such a commission would considerably reduce our payments to you -especially in the PPS (Pay per Sale) program.
• (b) Intervening in the payment procedures does not allow the flexibility we enjoy by using MyReferer for any kind of "special" agreements, between @lmiyachts.com and yourself.  For example, you can place your Ad on @lmiyachts.com site and finance the costs (or part of them) of this ad from your affiliate income.  Or, we enjoy the flexibility of setting different PPC commissions for every affiliate and increase it to those of our affiliates who are "productive".

Q.  How often will I be paid?

• We have set a minimum of $50 per month (if this amount is not achieved in the month, then the payment will rollover to the next month's payment)  Other options - like a credit card payment through your secure server - are possible.

Q.  Will I need to invoice you in order to receive a payment?

• Only if it suits you. We do not need any kind of documentation in order to pay your affiliate commissions.

Q.  How much money can I make using your program?

• I cannot answer that question. It depends on many factors, like your site's traffic, the page on which you placed your link, the text/banner chosen and the nature of your site and the services it offers. Yachting related sites always produce better results.
