We have created this email privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.

Why did you receive an email from me?

If you received a mailing from @lmiyachts.com, (a) your email address is either listed with us, as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us.  I respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.

What you will receive from @lmiyachts.com

Upon joining our mailing list you will be prompt to choose and tick various categories of our services.  Specifically you will receive:

• General interest  You will receive information regarding @lmiyachts.com and yachting in general, that could be to your interest.  A new charter company, a yacht model added to our list or a new base established on an island.  Boating articles published, laws related to yacht chartering  
• Special offers  Whenever charter companies present discounted charters for a specific period (one way trips, last minutes bookings, etc.), I will e-mail to inform you for that offer.  Since these offers may appear in large numbers, my key on which one to choose and e-mail you will be the discount's value.
• Bareboat charters  Any information I believe can become useful to a bareboat charterer.  A change of laws, a new method - or a change on an existing one - practiced by the majority of bareboat agencies, new companies entering the field or related articles, will be a good reason for me to e-mail and inform you.
• Flotilla sailing  As the above, regarding flotilla sailing programs and agencies.
• Yacht cruises  Any info related to cabin charter (yacht cruises) operating companies.  Special offers, new programs and related articles.
• Brokerage  Since you can find the majority of the boats offered for sale and the yacht brokers by scrolling the brokerage section of @lmiyachts.com site,  I will e-mail you only when a vessel is offered for sale at an extremely low price (an immediate need for cash from her owner is a good reason for such an offer).
• Cruise travel  New cruise liners or cruise programs from the existing lines.  Special offers, published articles etc.

NOTICE  You may tick one or more of the above categories.  If you choose more than one and a Newsletter applies to more categories' interests, you will receive it only once.

When you should expect our Newsletter

@lmiyachts.com newsletter is monthly, therefore you should expect it the first days of every month.  Yet, in some cases (no more than 2 - 3 times per year), I will send you a "special edition" if I believe that you should be aware of an event and "time" matters.  These notifications will be mostly for the "special offers" and "brokerage" categories and you will receive them only if you have ticked these categories.

How we protect your privacy

We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system.

Sharing and Usage

We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law.  Information submitted to @lmiyachts.com is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.

How can you stop receiving email from us?

Each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email.

If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to abuse@constantcontact.com for review.
