Upon delivering a bareboat

I understand that you have been dreaming of setting sail for months but do not let the "go, go" syndrome ruin your holiday, by setting sail before you are fully prepared.  It is far better to relax - after all, you are on holiday already - and set sail the next morning.

This way, not only will you be refreshed after your flight, but you will have had the time to stow everything, familiarize yourself with the vessel and even found anything you don't like, which you can immediately report to the owner, or his representative.

A blown bulb, a leaking tap or toilet, shortages in the linen inventory can all be rectified in a very short time and it is much better to do this in the home port, rather than a day's sail away.
