Day 1  Alimos marina (arrival day) Alimos marina

        Athens

Athens history

Athens
The main marina for charter boats in Athens is Alimos marina.  After delivering your vessel and time permitting you can pay a visit to Athens town, go for a swim or set sails..

Day 2   Alimos marina -  Vourkari   (36 nm) Kea - Vourkari

Kea Island

History of Kea
Kea island
Vourkari is a small, beautiful fishing village, situated 1.5 km from Korissia, Keas capital.  Its architecture is very special, while all the tourist boats coming to Kea anchor in its bay. The area's most significant sight is the small peninsula of Agia Irini, in the north, where excavations cast light upon a settlement from the Bronze Era.

Day 3   Vourkari - Merihas (16 nm) Merihas harbour

Kythnos Island

Kythnos Island
Kythnos island
A small island known since ancient times from Aristotle's work "The State of the Kythnians". It's harsh landscape is softened by dashes of green provided by vineyards and fig trees. It has two harbours, Loutra and Merihas, both sheltered anchorages. White cottages, churches with frescoes and icons and the hospitality of the islanders combine to make Kythnos popular with the visitors.

Day 4    Kythnos  - Hydra town (36 nm) Hydra harbour

Hydra Island

Hydra island history
Hydra Island
Hydra is perhaps the most beautiful port village in all of Greece. A tiny harbor ringed with cafes, restaurants and gold shops is surrounded by a village of stone houses and villas that rise up the hills like an amphitheatre. But one of the best things about Hydra is that there are no cars. Everything is moved by donkey, including groceries, building supplies, people and their luggage.

Day 5    Hydra - Poros town (12 nm)

Poros island harbour

Poros Island

Poros history
Poros Island
Poros covers a distance of 31,3 sq. Km., and population of 4,000 people. It is situated 32 nautical miles from Piraeus. The town is built on two rocky hills of a triangular islet that is called Spheria and it has been characterized as a scheduled settlement. The houses, without any specific architectural plan, are built one next to the other.

Day 6    Poros - Aegina town (14 nm)

Aegina port

Aegina Island

Aegina Island history
Aegina Island
The island is full of life, as much from the locals as from the visitors and the port of Aegina is still the second busiest port in Greece, after Piraeus.  Nevertheless, there are still parts of the island that remain as wild and untamed as ever. Those who are really in love with the island refuse to forego the calm that settles here after the visitors are gone.

Day7   Aegina - Alimos Marina (14 nm) Alimos marina

Athens

Athens history
Athens
Regrettably, the last sailing day.  The trip ends back to Alimos Marina in Athens, where time permitting a visit to Acropolis is a must.
